Caregiver CNA

About the Role

As a Caregiver CNA at Charter Senior Living of Shiloh, you will be a trusted daily presence for our residents — supporting their personal care, championing their independence, and honoring the unique life story each person carries. This is hands-on, relationship-centered work for someone who treats compassionate care as a calling rather than a clock-in.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, person-centered care to residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meals while preserving each resident's dignity.
• Build genuine, meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being to the care team.
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment that reflects each resident's preferences and history.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Caregiver, Resident Care Associate, or CNA in assisted living or memory care is strongly preferred.
• A patient, empathetic approach and a sincere passion for serving seniors.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a care team.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to resident-first care.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Shiloh, Saint Clair County.
