About the Role

Working as a Deli Associate at our Warrenville location, you'll be the face of our deli department. Your days are dynamic, involving direct customer interaction, hands-on food preparation, and maintaining our reputation for excellence in fresh deli offerings. From slicing premium meats and cheeses to assembling signature sandwiches and managing our hot case selections, you'll take pride in every plate that leaves your counter.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and slice high-quality deli meats, cheeses, and prepared salads according to customer requests and company standards
• Assemble sandwiches, platters, and gourmet items with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work station
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations about deli products
• Monitor and restock deli display cases with hot and cold items
• Follow food safety protocols and maintain proper temperature control for all products
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer needs during peak hours

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming attitude
• Reliable and punctual, with availability for part-time shifts
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to learn deli operations and food handling best practices
• Team player who takes initiative and maintains high standards of cleanliness
• Prior deli or food service experience is a plus but not required
