About the Role

The Field Engineer position places you at the center of job site execution in Prudhoe Bay. You'll function as the technical liaison between project management and construction crews, ensuring projects advance safely, efficiently, and to specification. This full-time role offers substantial experience in complex construction environments while making direct contributions to major industrial and infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily technical and operational activities across construction sites
• Review project blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings to direct field execution
• Perform quality inspections and verify construction meets design standards and safety protocols
• Document site progress, material tracking, equipment deployment, and crew activities
• Coordinate material procurement and equipment scheduling with project timelines
• Provide technical support and problem-solving to project managers and supervisors
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
• Communicate project updates between field teams and the project office

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; construction technology or civil engineering degree a plus
• Practical experience in construction, civil engineering, or related field
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings
• Comfort with construction measurement tools and documentation methods
• Capability to work in demanding outdoor conditions and at heights when needed
• Reliable communication and collaboration with diverse teams
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
