Human Resources Generalist

EHOB is looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support and strengthen our HR operations in West Indianapolis, Marion County. In this full-time role, you'll be the backbone of our people operations, handling everything from recruitment through benefits administration while helping establish and maintain a positive, compliant workplace culture.

About the Role

The Human Resources Generalist will partner with our management team and employees on core HR functions that keep our organization running smoothly. You'll balance strategic support with hands-on day-to-day tasks, working across the full employee lifecycle and serving as a trusted resource for both leadership and staff.

What You'll Do

• Manage recruitment efforts including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring support
• Process payroll administration and ensure accurate, timely compensation for all employees
• Administer benefits programs and handle benefits-related questions and enrollment
• Manage employee leave requests, tracking, and compliance with applicable laws
• Communicate and enforce company policies consistently across the organization
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal requirements
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions on HR-related matters

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a human resources, HR administration, or talent acquisition role
• Strong understanding of employment law, payroll, and benefits administration
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Clear communication skills and genuine ability to work with people at all levels
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and company culture
