Human Resources Generalist

Select Medical is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for our clinic operations in Tarrytown, Travis County. This is a full-time, on-site position for an HR professional ready to make a direct impact on our clinical teams.

About the Role

As a Human Resources Generalist at Select Medical, you'll serve as a trusted HR partner across our clinic network, supporting both clinical and administrative staff. This hands-on role offers a salary range of $60,000–$70,000 annually and requires someone committed to accountability, partnership, and creating meaningful change within our healthcare organization. You'll work directly with caregivers and clinic leaders to build a supportive workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent.

What You'll Do

• Recruit, screen, and onboard new hires for clinical and administrative positions
• Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs for clinic staff
• Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management
• Ensure compliance with employment law and company HR policies
• Develop and deliver training programs for professional development
• Maintain personnel records and HR documentation systems
• Partner with clinic leadership to support workforce planning and retention

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of HR experience, in generalist or coordinator role preferred
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Experience with payroll, benefits administration, or HRIS systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Experience in healthcare or clinical settings preferred
• Proficiency with standard HR software and Microsoft Office
