Claims Manager

About the Role

As Claims Manager, you'll take ownership of processing, investigating, and resolving claims that come through our platform. This is a full-time position working on-site in our San Francisco office, where you'll manage the complete claims lifecycle and ensure fair, timely resolutions for all parties involved.

What You'll Do

• Receive, review, and process incoming claims with accuracy and attention to detail
• Investigate claim details by gathering documentation and speaking with relevant parties
• Assess claim validity and eligibility based on policies and contractual terms
• Collaborate with workers, businesses, and internal teams to gather information and resolve disputes
• Make recommendations and decisions on claim approval, denial, or settlement
• Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the claims process
• Ensure all claims handling complies with applicable laws and company policies
• Track metrics and provide reporting on claims volume, resolution times, and outcomes

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of claims management, customer service, or related operations experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple claims simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to accuracy in documentation
• Problem-solving ability and sound judgment when evaluating complex situations
• Familiarity with claims management systems and/or database tools preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
