Senior Financial Analyst

NexCore Group is actively recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen our real estate development division, based in Federal Heights, Adams County. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will deliver the rigorous financial insights and analytical rigor that accelerates our senior living development portfolio and investment decisions.

About the Role

Your focus will be on translating complex financial data into actionable intelligence that shapes strategic direction across our portfolio. You'll work at the intersection of real estate development and senior living operations, where your modeling expertise directly influences which projects we pursue and how we optimize their performance. This is a full-time position offering the visibility and scope that comes with supporting executive-level investment decisions.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate senior living development opportunities and existing assets
• Analyze acquisition, renovation, and operational scenarios with comprehensive cash-flow projections and sensitivity analysis
• Prepare detailed financial summaries, valuation reports, and investment recommendation memos for leadership review
• Monitor portfolio performance against budget and underwriting assumptions, surfacing variance and course-correction insights
• Research market trends, comparable properties, and financing structures relevant to senior living real estate
• Support due diligence on investment and partnership opportunities with data-driven analysis

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of financial analysis, investment analysis, or real estate development finance experience
• Mastery of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and Excel—demonstrable through prior projects
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial audiences
• Strong command of accounting principles and familiarity with real estate fundamentals
• Analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and the curiosity to dig into drivers behind the numbers
• Track record working independently while collaborating across teams
