Principal Program Quality Engineer – TACAIR with Security Clearance

BAE Systems is seeking a Principal Program Quality Engineer for our Tactical Air (TACAIR) product line in Nashua, Hillsborough County. In this leadership role, you'll drive quality assurance and program management excellence for mission-critical electronic warfare systems supporting advanced military aircraft platforms.

About the Role

As Principal Program Quality Engineer, you'll lead quality oversight for the EPAWSS(v)2 program and related initiatives, including the F-15 Japan Super Interceptor and F-15 Korea programs. You'll report to senior leadership and own end-to-end quality strategy, from requirements verification through field deployment, ensuring the highest standards for defense-critical capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Direct program quality planning, risk assessment, and continuous process improvement across all program phases
• Manage requirements analysis, verification, and validation activities with cross-functional engineering teams
• Establish and enforce quality standards, compliance protocols, and performance metrics aligned with military specifications and customer expectations
• Oversee testing, configuration management, and technical documentation to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance
• Lead corrective and preventive action programs; escalate and resolve quality issues that impact schedule or performance
• Partner with program management, systems engineering, and manufacturing to optimize production and sustainment quality
• Mentor and develop program quality personnel; represent quality interests in program governance and milestone reviews

What We're Looking For

• Active Top Secret or higher security clearance (or ability to obtain clearance)
• 15+ years of quality engineering experience in complex defense, aerospace, or electronic systems programs
• Proven track record leading quality programs at principal or senior level
• Deep familiarity with MIL-SPEC standards, DO-254, DO-178, or equivalent military/aerospace quality frameworks
• Strong analytical skills and experience with risk management and design verification processes
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; experience working with government stakeholders is highly valued
