Product Owner, Tetrascience Data Platform

Takeda is seeking a Product Owner to lead the Tetrascience Data Platform in Boston, Suffolk County. In this full-time role, you'll own the product vision and strategy for a mission-critical data system that powers Takeda's research operations and business intelligence across the organization.

About the Role

As Product Owner for the Tetrascience Data Platform, you'll partner with engineering teams, data scientists, and executive stakeholders to build and evolve a platform that serves hundreds of internal users. You'll define the product roadmap, translate complex technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes, and ensure the platform supports Takeda's commitment to scientific innovation and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on strategic role where your decisions directly impact how Takeda accelerates discovery and delivers insights.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage the product roadmap, balancing new capabilities, technical debt, and strategic priorities
• Gather and synthesize requirements from research teams, data scientists, operations, and leadership
• Define acceptance criteria and user stories that guide engineering delivery
• Establish success metrics and track product adoption, user satisfaction, and business impact
• Prioritize features based on user needs, business value, and platform scalability
• Lead cross-functional product discovery and planning sessions
• Collaborate with data engineers and infrastructure teams on technical feasibility and system reliability
• Ensure the platform maintains enterprise-grade security, compliance, and performance standards

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management or product ownership experience with technical products
• Proven track record managing complex, data-intensive platforms or enterprise software
• Ability to communicate fluently with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with data platforms, analytics systems, or business intelligence tools
• Strong analytical skills and comfort making decisions with incomplete information
• Excellent written and verbal communication and project prioritization abilities
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and iterative product practices
• Demonstrated commitment to data-driven decision-making and measurable outcomes
