Associate Attorney

Graves & King LLP. in Corona, Riverside County is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to handle defense litigation matters across personal injury cases. You'll bring three or more years of litigation experience to a role where strategy, client communication, and courtroom skill all matter equally.

About the Role

As an Associate Attorney, you'll manage a caseload of personal injury defense matters from client intake through final disposition. This is hands-on litigation work—you'll work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts to advance cases through every procedural stage and toward favorable resolution.

What You'll Do

• Draft, file, and argue pleadings, motions, and law-and-motion matters
• Manage discovery: propound and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Evaluate cases for settlement value and litigation risk
• Maintain regular, professional communication with clients about case development and strategy
• Negotiate and prepare for mediations and alternative dispute resolution
• Research applicable law and defend positions in writing and orally

What We're Looking For

• Minimum three years of defense-oriented litigation experience
• Solid foundation in personal injury law and civil procedure
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities
• Professional communication style and sound client judgment
• Active California State Bar license
