Operations Manager

Gpac is hiring an Operations Manager for a growing national ready-to-eat food manufacturer with facilities in Owensboro, Kentucky and Evansville, Indiana. This full-time position represents a significant leadership opportunity at one of our manufacturing plants.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you'll take the helm of daily operations at one of our busy food manufacturing plants. This critical leadership role encompasses oversight of production and warehouse operations, driving efficiency improvements, and maintaining the highest standards for quality and safety. You'll lead a dedicated operations team to meet production targets and continuously enhance facility performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Direct all daily plant operations, including production scheduling and warehouse coordination
• Manage production workflows and warehouse functions to achieve manufacturing objectives
• Build, mentor, and supervise operations and production team members
• Track and analyze operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Uphold food safety regulations, quality standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to maximize facility efficiency and output

• Established experience managing operations in manufacturing or food production environments
• Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of building high-performing teams
• Working knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and warehouse operations
• Proficiency in analyzing data and implementing operational improvements
