Role Overview

As a Crew Member at Ruppert Landscape, you'll work directly on landscape construction and maintenance projects throughout Charleston, Charleston County, and the broader Southeast. This is a full-time position where you'll contribute to creating and maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces for our commercial clients. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values safety, quality, and professional excellence.

Responsibilities

• Execute landscape construction and maintenance tasks including planting, grading, hardscape installation, and site preparation
• Operate landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow established safety protocols and best practices on job sites
• Work collaboratively with crew leads and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Help maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
• Respond to project changes and adapt to daily work assignments

Skills & Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new landscaping techniques and operate equipment
• Previous landscaping or construction experience is valued but not required for the right candidate
