Retail Front End Supervisor – Full-Time

Burlington is hiring a Full-Time Retail Front End Supervisor for our Butler, Waukesha County store location. This is a hands-on leadership role managing our customer-facing operations and the team that makes the shopping experience exceptional.

About the Role

As a Retail Front End Supervisor at Burlington, you'll lead the front-end team and ensure smooth, efficient store operations from opening to closing. You'll oversee the registers, customer service desk, and the people who staff them — setting the standard for service quality and operational excellence. This full-time position puts you at the heart of the store, where you'll make direct decisions about scheduling, training, and customer issue resolution. You'll report to store management and be a trusted voice in how your team performs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise and train cashiers and customer service representatives on registers, POS systems, and customer engagement
• Monitor front-end performance, including transaction accuracy, register balancing, and cash handling procedures
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and store-approved solutions
• Coordinate opening and closing procedures, including register setup, cash counts, and end-of-day reporting
• Maintain compliance with company policies, loss prevention protocols, and operational standards
• Support inventory and merchandise flow from receiving to the sales floor
• Schedule team members and manage staffing needs based on store traffic and operational demands

What You Bring

• Retail supervisory or leadership experience, or proven success in a customer-facing role ready to advance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members
• Cash handling experience and proficiency with point-of-sale systems
• Attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
