Multi-Site Security Officer – 2nd/3rd Shift Availability

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Multi-Site Security Officer in Normal, McLean County. This full-time position requires flexibility across second and third shift schedules, providing security oversight at multiple client facilities throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Multi-Site Security Officer, you'll be a critical part of Securitas Security Services USA, Inc.'s commitment to protecting our clients' facilities and personnel. Working across various locations on second and third shifts, you'll maintain the vigilance, integrity, and helpfulness that define our approach to security. This is an on-site role with no remote work component—you'll be stationed directly at client locations to provide immediate, professional security presence.

Core Duties

• Patrol assigned sites regularly, inspecting perimeters and common areas to identify and prevent unauthorized access
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations using sound judgment and established protocols
• Verify credentials and manage access points, maintaining logs of all visitor and personnel entry and exit activity
• Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and other detection equipment, reporting anomalies immediately
• Document all security observations, incidents, and activities in required reports and system logs
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing Securitas at client sites
• Coordinate with site management, security team members, and emergency responders as situations require

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with reliable access to transportation
• Availability to work any day of the week on second or third shift schedules
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and perform patrol duties for extended periods
• Strong observation and communication abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Willingness to obtain state-required security licensing or certifications
