Appliance Technician

Progress Residential is seeking an experienced Appliance Technician to join our full-time team in Nashville, Davidson County. As a trusted property manager of single-family rental homes across the nation, we're looking for skilled technicians to maintain and repair appliances in our residential properties while delivering excellent service to our residents.

What This Role Involves

You'll be the go-to expert for appliance maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting across our Nashville rental properties. This is a hands-on position where you'll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform repairs, and ensure appliances are functioning safely and efficiently for our residents. Your work directly impacts resident satisfaction and property performance.

Core Duties

• Respond to service requests and assess appliance problems accurately and efficiently
• Diagnose and repair issues with refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and other residential appliances
• Order and install replacement parts as needed
• Document all service work and maintain records for each property
• Communicate clearly with residents and property managers about repairs and timelines
• Follow safety protocols and building codes when performing all repairs
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing major household appliances
• Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn about new appliance models and technologies
