About the Role
This position focuses on everyday cleaning tasks that keep buildings looking their best. You’ll work under the guidance of a janitorial supervisor and contribute to the overall upkeep of assigned facilities.
What You'll Do
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, and other fixtures
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and elevators
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Restock consumable supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or general cleaning roles is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and appropriate use of cleaning agents
- Capable of lifting moderate weights and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work part‑time hours as scheduled
