Insomnia Cookies is looking for a Part‑Time Shift Leader to manage the nightly operations at its Fairborn, Greene County location.
In this role you will guide a team of bakers and delivery associates while ensuring every order meets the brand’s quality standards.
About the Role
The Shift Leader serves as the on‑site supervisor during assigned shifts, overseeing production, customer service, and delivery logistics. You will be the point of contact for both staff and guests, helping to maintain a smooth workflow from dough to doorstep.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate baking schedules to guarantee fresh cookies are ready for peak delivery windows
- Supervise and train team members on food safety, portion control, and courteous service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, packaging, and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, balancing the register at shift close
- Communicate shift performance metrics to the store manager and suggest improvements
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a food service, retail, or hospitality environment, with at least six months in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team during late‑hour shifts
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions and inventory counts
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
- Reliable transportation to reach the Fairborn store consistently
