Maximus is hiring a Committee Coordinator I- Admin Svcs in Dallas, Texas to support the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network’s policymaking efforts.

About the Role

This full‑time position works closely with the OPTN committee structure to facilitate collaborative policy development that promotes fair, evidence‑based organ transplantation across the United States. The coordinator helps ensure that meetings, documentation, and follow‑up actions run smoothly and in alignment with HRSA‑guided standards.

What You'll Do

• Schedule and coordinate OPTN committee meetings, including virtual and in‑person logistics
• Prepare agendas, background materials, and meeting minutes in accordance with OPTN protocols
• Maintain accurate records of discussions, action items, and policy drafts
• Liaise with committee members, HRSA representatives, and external stakeholders to gather input and distribute updates
• Track policy development timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external audiences
• Utilize project management tools to monitor progress and flag any issues that need attention
• Assist with special projects related to organ donation and transplantation initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, public policy, life sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience coordinating meetings, managing documentation, or supporting committee work in a healthcare, government, or nonprofit setting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including proficiency in drafting clear, concise meeting materials
• Familiarity with federal healthcare programs or organ transplantation processes is a plus
• Comfortable working with digital collaboration platforms and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
