Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector position at Aerotek in Burbank, Los Angeles County – full‑time opportunity supporting an aerospace manufacturing team.

About the Role

Aerotek is partnering with a leading aerospace firm in the Valencia area to hire skilled Quality Inspectors who can start quickly. This role focuses on verifying that incoming materials and finished components meet strict engineering standards and customer specifications before they move to production.

What You'll Do

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, sub‑assemblies, and completed parts using calibrated tools.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to confirm compliance with tolerances and finish requirements.
• Document inspection results in quality logs and non‑conformance reports, initiating corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with receiving, production, and engineering teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain material traceability.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as root‑cause analysis and process audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to all safety and quality policies.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in quality inspection, preferably within an aerospace, medical, or high‑precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and inspection plans.
• Familiarity with receiving procedures, including lot verification and supplier documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills for accurate record‑keeping.
• Basic math proficiency and comfort using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other hand tools.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with cross‑functional teams and reporting findings.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to undergo any required background checks.
