The Training Program Assistant position at Monroe Community Mental Health Authority in Frenchtown, Monroe County supports the planning and delivery of behavioral health training initiatives for staff and community partners. This is a full‑time role based onsite in our Frenchtown office.
About the Role
As a Training Program Assistant, you will help coordinate learning activities that enhance the skills of mental health professionals and support staff. You will work closely with trainers, program managers, and administrative teams to ensure training sessions run smoothly and meet organizational goals.
What You'll Do
- Assist in scheduling training workshops, webinars, and in‑person sessions across multiple sites.
- Prepare and distribute training materials, including handouts, presentations, and evaluation forms.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, track completion data, and generate reports for management.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, audiovisual equipment, and catering arrangements.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to trainers and participants, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or coursework in education, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with administrative support, event coordination, or training assistance in a healthcare or nonprofit setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple calendars and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with learning management systems.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, and a collaborative attitude.
