About the Role

As a Courtesy Clerk you are the friendly face that keeps our stores running smoothly. You’ll assist shoppers with their needs, maintain a tidy environment, and support the overall efficiency of the store floor.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers with a smile and offer assistance as they enter and move through the store
• Help with bagging groceries, carry items to vehicles, and return shopping carts to the proper areas
• Keep aisles, entryways, and checkout areas clean and free of debris
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as bags, carts, and cleaning materials at service stations
• Address customer inquiries, handle returns or exchanges according to store policy, and escalate issues when needed
• Support cashiers by performing price checks, restocking impulse items, and ensuring checkout lanes are ready for the next guest
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe shopping environment

What We're Looking For

• A genuine enjoyment of helping people and a courteous, approachable demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift light to moderate weights for extended periods
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change
• Reliability and punctuality with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team‑oriented setting
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
