About the Role
As a front‑line representative, you will be the friendly face that greets members, processes their transactions accurately, and supports the credit union’s mission of providing trusted financial services. What You'll Do
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine transactions with precision.
- Balance your cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all totals match.
- Provide courteous, professional service while answering member inquiries and resolving issues.
- Identify opportunities to introduce credit union products and services that meet members’ needs.
- Follow all security, compliance, and confidentiality procedures to protect member information.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and assist with branch opening and closing duties.
- Collaborate with teammates to support smooth branch operations and a positive work environment.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in finance or business is a plus.
- Previous experience handling cash or providing customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse members.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or Saturdays as needed.
- Basic proficiency with computers and standard office software.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to upholding the credit union’s values of integrity and service.
