Senior Operational Excellence Lean Specialist

Allegion seeks a Senior Operational Excellence Lean Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, Hamilton County. As a full-time leader in continuous improvement, you'll drive operational efficiency and process optimization across our manufacturing and service operations, helping us deliver security and access control solutions to customers worldwide.

About the Role

This position is central to Allegion's commitment to operational excellence. You'll lead the identification, analysis, and implementation of process improvements using lean methodologies and data-driven problem-solving. Working across departments, you'll champion a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring our operations remain competitive, efficient, and responsive to customer needs.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute operational excellence strategies aligned with business objectives
• Conduct process audits and value stream mapping to identify inefficiencies and waste reduction opportunities
• Mentor and coach cross-functional teams on lean principles and continuous improvement practices
• Analyze operational metrics, performance data, and key performance indicators to track progress
• Lead kaizen events, process redesigns, and implementation projects from conception through validation
• Partner with plant management and department leaders to sustain improvements and prevent backsliding
• Document processes, standardize best practices, and create training materials for operational teams

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of operational excellence, lean manufacturing, or process improvement experience
• Certification in lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
• Strong project management and change management capabilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across organizational silos
• Clear communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership
