About the Role
As an Overnight Excavator Operator, you'll operate heavy excavation equipment on construction and aggregate production sites. This full-time position works overnight hours and is critical to meeting our project timelines and safety standards in our Ennis location.
What You'll Do
- Operate excavators and related heavy equipment for excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in proper working condition
- Communicate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate project activities
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Work accurately and efficiently during overnight shift hours
- Adhere to all company safety standards and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy excavation equipment
- Previous experience as an excavator operator or similar heavy equipment role
- Comfort working overnight shift schedules
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following workplace safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance knowledge
