Dal-Tile Corporation, the nation's leading tile and natural stone manufacturer, is hiring a full-time Quartz Polish Line Operator for our Dickson production facility. About the Role
As a Quartz Polish Line Operator, you'll be the expert managing our quartz polishing production line. You'll ensure every piece meets our exacting quality standards while maintaining safe, efficient operations throughout your shift. Working as part of a skilled, dedicated team, you'll take pride in knowing your work contributes to premium products that reach customers across North America.
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor quartz polishing equipment, adjusting parameters to maintain consistent quality and output
- Inspect polished quartz products for defects, surface quality, and specifications before they move to the next production stage
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and calibration to keep the line running smoothly
- Troubleshoot production issues and report equipment problems to maintenance and supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with teammates to meet daily production targets and support overall facility goals
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate industrial machinery and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
- Team player with reliable, consistent attendance
- Manufacturing or production line experience is helpful but not required; we'll train the right candidate
