About the Role
As a Registered Behavior Technician at Amergis, you'll work at the forefront of behavioral health services, delivering structured interventions designed to help clients build skills and overcome behavioral challenges. Working under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, you'll be a key member of our clinical team, collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to create meaningful change in the communities we serve.
What You'll Do
- Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans aligned with clients' goals and clinical protocols
- Collect and document accurate behavioral data during sessions and therapeutic activities
- Facilitate skill-building exercises in academic, social, communication, and adaptive areas
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts, school professionals, and other specialists to refine treatment approaches
- Provide compassionate, ethical support to children and adults with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral health needs
- Communicate progress updates with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain professionalism and uphold confidentiality standards in all client interactions
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or ability to obtain certification
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Patience, reliability, and genuine commitment to client success
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training
