About the Role
We're seeking an experienced ultrasound technician for cardiac imaging in the Sioux City area. This full-time travel position runs for 14 weeks, beginning July 27, 2026, with a consistent day-shift schedule: five 8-hour days per week. As part of AHS Staffing's nationwide network of healthcare professionals, you'll perform echo procedures, acquire high-quality diagnostic images, and collaborate with cardiologists and clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive echocardiography exams using current ultrasound technology
- Obtain and optimize cardiac imaging for accurate diagnostic interpretation
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging protocols
- Communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff during clinical workflows
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures
- Support the medical team in delivering timely, quality patient care
What We're Looking For
- RDCS certification (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or equivalent state licensure
- Minimum 2+ years of professional echo ultrasound experience
- Proficiency with echocardiography equipment and cardiac protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical environments
- Current CPR certification
