Family Residences and Essential Enterprises
Family Residences and Essential Enterprises is seeking an Assistant Manager for its OPWDD Housing Services program in Medford, Suffolk County. This is a full-time position where you'll provide leadership and clinical oversight for a residential program, supervising a team of Direct Support Professionals and ensuring individuals receive quality, person-centered support.
About the Role
Working under the direction of the Residential Manager, the Assistant Manager assumes responsibility for day-to-day operational management and clinical oversight of an assigned residential program. You'll balance hands-on leadership with compliance responsibilities in a community-based housing setting dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to Direct Support Professionals on your assigned unit
- Oversee service planning and ensure clinical and health care services meet individual needs and regulatory standards
- Implement and coordinate day-to-day residential activities and program operations
- Monitor adherence to OPWDD requirements, organizational policies, and care standards
- Support team development through coaching, performance feedback, and training initiatives
- Maintain regular communication with the Residential Manager regarding program performance and operational challenges
