Business Claims Analyst II – Wellpoint Federal

Elevance Health seeks a Business Claims Analyst II for our Tampa office to join our Wellpoint Federal team. About the Role

As a Business Claims Analyst II, you'll play a key part in analyzing and processing claims while supporting our federal healthcare programs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in claims management operations across our network.

What You'll Do

• Analyze business claims data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
• Review and validate claims for accuracy and adherence to federal and operational guidelines
• Collaborate with claims processing, finance, and compliance teams to resolve complex issues
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations to support business decisions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure audit readiness
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in claims analysis, healthcare operations, or business analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and data analysis tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments
• Knowledge of healthcare claims processes or federal programs preferred
