Elevance Health seeks a Business Claims Analyst II for our Tampa office to join our Wellpoint Federal team. This full-time role combines structured in-office collaboration (1–2 days per week) with the flexibility of remote work, empowering you to deliver results while maintaining work-life balance.
About the Role
As a Business Claims Analyst II, you'll play a key part in analyzing and processing claims while supporting our federal healthcare programs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in claims management operations across our network.
What You'll Do
- Analyze business claims data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
- Review and validate claims for accuracy and adherence to federal and operational guidelines
- Collaborate with claims processing, finance, and compliance teams to resolve complex issues
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations to support business decisions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure audit readiness
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in claims analysis, healthcare operations, or business analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and data analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments
- Knowledge of healthcare claims processes or federal programs preferred
