About the Role

As a CDL A truck driver with Dollar General Fleet, you'll operate commercial vehicles on established regional routes designed to keep you home with your family and pets each week. Your work delivers merchandise from our distribution facilities to Dollar General store locations across the country, supporting our continued retail expansion and keeping stores well-stocked from coast to coast.

What You'll Do

• Operate Class A commercial trucks on assigned regional delivery routes
• Transport merchandise from distribution centers to Dollar General store locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and DOT compliance documentation
• Deliver loads safely and on schedule while adhering to all federal highway regulations
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse teams, and store personnel to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
• Current DOT medical certification and clean driving record
• Professional experience operating commercial vehicles
• Strong understanding of federal motor carrier safety regulations and Hours of Service compliance
• Ability to work independently while meeting delivery schedules
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills
