Methodist Hospital is recruiting a Registered Nurse for our Catheterization Lab in Universal City, Bexar County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver expert patient care in a dynamic clinical setting within a leading health system dedicated to innovation and quality outcomes.

You'll work in our cardiology catheterization lab, where we employ advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to serve patients with cardiac conditions. Your Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic parameters during interventions
- Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field management
- Assist interventional cardiologists and medical teams throughout procedures
- Educate patients about procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations
- Document clinical findings, procedure details, and patient responses
- Coordinate post-procedure care and monitor for potential complications
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in acute-care or procedural nursing settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication abilities
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
