About the Role

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you'll provide essential technical and clinical support in a high-acuity cardiac interventional environment. Working alongside cardiologists and nursing teams, you'll be instrumental in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural success.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain cardiac catheterization equipment and instrumentation according to clinical standards
• Assist cardiologists and interventional specialists during diagnostic angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic parameters throughout procedures
• Manage sterile field protocols and ensure compliance with infection control standards
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed procedural records
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and imaging systems safely and effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Stay current with advances in cardiac technology and interventional techniques

What We're Looking For

• Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification or equivalent
• Proven experience as a cath lab technologist in an acute care setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathophysiology, and interventional procedures
• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization equipment and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical environments
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
