About the Role
As Maintenance Technician at Sundance Creek, you'll be the backbone of our property operations. You'll handle both routine preventive maintenance and urgent repair requests, ensuring our community remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. This role requires someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates clearly with residents, and works effectively as part of a dedicated team.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and appliances
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, troubleshooting issues and completing repairs
- Maintain grounds, landscaping, and common areas in good condition
- Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools safely
- Document maintenance activities and track work orders accurately
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized work is needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in apartment or residential property maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions
