Lead Maintenance Technician – Olympus Hudson Oaks

Olympus Property seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician for our Hudson Oaks apartment community in Parmer County. About the Role

This full-time position puts you at the center of daily operations for our Hudson Oaks property. You'll oversee preventive maintenance, lead a team of technicians, coordinate repairs, and ensure our community operates safely and efficiently. You'll balance strategic planning with hands-on expertise, responding to resident needs while proactively managing building systems.

What You'll Do

• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate work schedules and assignments
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce emergency repairs
• Inspect common areas and units to identify maintenance needs and compliance issues
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure quality, timely resolutions
• Track inventory, manage work orders, and maintain detailed maintenance records
• Enforce safety protocols and building code compliance across the property
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or commercial property management
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising maintenance teams
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Relevant technical certifications preferred
