Architectural Code Compliance Officer

Crescent Careers is hiring a full-time Architectural Code Compliance Officer in Horseshoe Bay, Llano County to oversee architectural standards enforcement and ensure community properties meet all approved plans and governance requirements.

About the Role

As our Architectural Code Compliance Officer, you'll directly support the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) by administering compliance reviews and enforcement activities. You'll be the primary point person for evaluating architectural submissions, investigating non-compliance matters, and maintaining the community standards that keep Horseshoe Bay and surrounding Llano County areas cohesive and well-maintained.

What You'll Do

• Review architectural plans and property modifications against approved guidelines, governing documents, and community standards
• Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with approved designs and building specifications
• Investigate compliance violations and prepare detailed documentation of findings
• Issue compliance notices and work with property owners to resolve violations
• Maintain comprehensive case files and enforcement records for audit and reference purposes
• Present case summaries and recommendations to the Architectural Control Committee
• Communicate with residents and builders regarding standards, procedures, and requirements
• Support ACC meetings and provide compliance updates on ongoing cases

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED minimum; bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in code enforcement, architectural review, or compliance administration
• Working knowledge of building codes, architectural standards, and zoning ordinances
• Strong written and communication skills for reports and community interaction
• Ability to manage multiple compliance cases and work independently
• Proficiency with document management systems and standard office software
• Professional judgment and strong attention to accuracy
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
