Join Compass Group, North America as a full-time Food Transporter and Delivery Driver at our Bloomberg facility in Skillman, New Jersey. This is an opportunity to support daily meal delivery operations for a major workplace dining program while maintaining a consistent, predictable schedule.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Food Transporter and Delivery Driver to join our full-time team serving the Bloomberg location at 100 Business Park Drive, Skillman, NJ 08558. You'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, ensuring timely and safe transport of prepared meals and food products to support our clients' dining operations.
What You'll Do
- Transport prepared food items and meal components from preparation facilities to designated service locations
- Ensure safe handling and proper temperature maintenance of all transported food products throughout delivery
- Meet established delivery schedules and coordinate timing with kitchen and service teams
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and keep transport equipment clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with operations and service staff to support smooth, on-time meal service
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in food transportation, food delivery, or food service operations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to commit to a consistent early morning schedule, including 6:00 AM start times
- Safety-conscious approach to handling food products and operating delivery vehicles
- Dependable, professional demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills
