Server / Cashier – PT

TravelCenters of America in Wells, Elko County is hiring a Server and Cashier for a full-time position. You'll be part of a company that serves the nation's truck drivers and road travelers, providing them with fuel, food, and essential services at travel centers across the country.

About the Role

In this position, you'll be the welcoming face and operational hub of our travel center location. Handling transactions, taking orders, and serving customers are core to the job, and you'll work to ensure every guest has a positive experience during their stop.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers arriving at our travel center and take food and beverage orders
• Process cash and card payments at the register
• Prepare and serve food items to specification
• Maintain a clean and organized service station
• Answer customer questions about menu options and facility services
• Respond to customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Coordinate with kitchen and support staff to meet service demands

What We're Looking For

• Experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or customer-focused work
• Proficiency with cash registers and point-of-sale systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
• Availability for varied hours, including evenings and weekends
• Valid government-issued ID and employment authorization
