Join a leading commercial construction team as a Drywall Project Manager in Rochester Hills, Oakland County. This full-time role offers $85K–$100K compensation and the opportunity to manage high-impact drywall and metal framing projects for well-established contractors across the region.
About the Role
gpac has partnered with top-tier commercial drywall and metal framing contractors to fill critical project management positions. You'll oversee complex commercial construction projects from pre-bid through completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and workflows for commercial drywall and framing installations
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and labor to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Perform accurate project estimates and cost analysis for competitive bidding
- Monitor job site safety, compliance, and quality control throughout project execution
- Communicate with architects, contractors, and clients to resolve issues and track progress
- Prepare project documentation, change orders, and progress reports
- Lead and mentor on-site teams to ensure workmanship standards are exceeded
What We're Looking For
- Proven project management experience in commercial drywall or metal framing construction
- Strong estimating and budgeting skills with experience in takeoffs and cost analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities under deadline pressure
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and OSHA compliance
- Proficiency with project management and estimating software
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills with a client-focused mindset
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
