Join Lumen as an Account Manager II – Channel Manager in Rapid City, Pennington County. We're seeking an experienced channel manager to build and nurture strategic partnerships that drive growth across our enterprise connectivity solutions.
About the Role
As an Account Manager II – Channel Manager at Lumen, you'll manage relationships with a portfolio of channel partners and resellers, enabling them to market and sell our fiber-based network and cloud connectivity services. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners in your region, coordinating sales enablement, deal support, and ongoing partner success. This full-time position is based in Rapid City and offers the opportunity to develop deep partnerships while supporting Lumen's mission of connecting enterprises to the secure, high-performance infrastructure they depend on.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute channel partner strategies to expand market coverage and revenue within your territory
- Provide sales support, technical resources, and deal acceleration to enable partners to win and retain enterprise customers
- Conduct regular partner business reviews to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address challenges
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, training programs, and certification initiatives to strengthen partner capabilities
- Manage partner inquiries, escalations, and support requests to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Track partner pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on channel performance metrics
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to align partner activities with Lumen's business objectives
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of account management, channel management, or partnership development experience, preferably in telecom or enterprise technology
- Proven track record managing and growing channel partner relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust across internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools
- Knowledge of enterprise networking, connectivity solutions, or related infrastructure services
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple partner relationships simultaneously
