About the Role
As a Loss Prevention Associate 2, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining store security and loss prevention strategies. You'll monitor store operations, identify and address potential risks, and work collaboratively with management to create a safer shopping environment for customers and a more secure workplace for your team.
What You'll Do
- Monitor store floor, fitting rooms, and transaction areas to detect and prevent inventory loss and theft
- Respond to security concerns and suspicious activity with professionalism and discretion
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of merchandise, storage areas, and security systems
- Assist in training and mentoring store associates on loss prevention procedures and best practices
- Document incidents, investigate discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports for management
- Support cash handling procedures and point-of-sale system security
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Previous loss prevention, security, or retail management experience preferred
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with security systems and retail technology platforms
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and remain alert throughout shifts
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies
