Join Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist and contribute to our procurement strategy. We're seeking an experienced professional to drive sourcing initiatives that support our mission as one of the nation's leading children's hospitals.
About the Role
This full-time Strategic Sourcing Specialist position is based in the US with regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll develop and execute sourcing strategies for key product and service categories, working with vendors and internal teams to achieve cost-effective, quality-focused purchasing decisions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories
- Manage vendor evaluation, selection, and qualification processes
- Conduct market analysis to identify suppliers and cost optimization opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to deliver value and support organizational objectives
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance
- Analyze spending patterns and supply chain data to inform procurement decisions
- Collaborate with clinical and operational departments to align sourcing with organizational needs
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong analytical and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency with procurement systems and supply chain management tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare supply chain practices is valued
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related discipline preferred
