Manager, Category Management

WK Kellogg Co is hiring a Manager, Category Management in Minneapolis, Hennepin County for a full-time position. Lead strategic category initiatives and drive profitability across our product portfolio in this on-site management role.

About the Role

As Manager, Category Management at WK Kellogg Co, you'll oversee category strategy, planning, and execution that directly impacts business performance. This position combines analytical rigor with cross-functional leadership to maximize category growth and shareholder value in the competitive food and beverage market.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies aligned with company objectives and market opportunities
• Analyze category performance, competitive landscape, and consumer trends to inform decision-making
• Manage category profit and loss accountability, driving revenue growth and cost optimization
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, supply chain, and product development teams to execute category initiatives
• Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive terms and quality standards
• Identify and assess new product opportunities, market gaps, and portfolio optimization initiatives
• Present category insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in category management, brand management, or product portfolio management
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with demonstrated P&L management capability
• Strategic thinking combined with strong execution and project management skills
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication abilities
• Experience in the food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or related industry preferred
• Ability to synthesize complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field
