Human Resources – Recruiter – Generalist – iCIMS

Join The Consortium as a full-time Human Resources Recruiter based in Mount Rainier, Prince George's County. We're looking for an experienced generalist recruiter to own our hiring pipeline, from sourcing talent through placement, using industry-leading recruitment systems and strategies to build high-performing teams across our organization.

About the Role

You'll drive the complete recruitment cycle, managing multiple search assignments simultaneously and delivering quality candidates to hiring managers on schedule. This is a hands-on recruiting role where you'll combine database research, professional networking, and direct candidate engagement to identify and place talent at every level.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for diverse, ongoing hiring needs across the organization
• Post job opportunities and strategically source candidates through online databases, professional networks, and direct outreach
• Qualify, screen, and interview prospective candidates to assess fit and readiness for available positions
• Register qualified candidates and manage them through the complete hiring workflow
• Coordinate candidate submissions with hiring managers and track their progress through each stage
• Partner with leadership on salary expectations, offer structures, and competitive positioning
• Respond to multiple concurrent recruitment requests with professionalism and attention to detail
• Maintain detailed records and provide reporting on recruitment activity and outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment or HR recruiting roles
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage candidates at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active searches and competing priorities
• Understanding of compensation, benefits, and employment practices
• Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills
• Commitment to professional conduct and confidentiality in all recruiting activities
