About the Role

As Director of Strategic Partner Execution Management at Lumen, you will lead the development and implementation of partnership strategies that align with enterprise and government customer needs. This position reports directly to senior leadership and carries accountability for partner program performance, relationship quality, and revenue impact. You will oversee complex partnership lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery against strategic objectives.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute partner management strategies that support Lumen's market position and revenue growth targets
• Build and maintain high-performing teams responsible for partner engagement, onboarding, and ongoing support
• Identify, qualify, and prioritize strategic partnerships based on market opportunity and business fit
• Manage partner performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and implement corrective actions where needed
• Oversee partner contracts, terms, and agreements; coordinate legal and finance to close deals efficiently
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to align partner needs with internal capabilities
• Track pipeline, forecasting, and execution metrics; report progress to executive leadership
• Represent Lumen at industry events and in direct partner communications to strengthen relationships

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or similar roles at scale
• Proven track record managing strategic partnerships for technology, infrastructure, or telecommunications companies
• Strong leadership experience building and coaching teams in a matrix environment
• Expertise in contract negotiation, deal structure, and P&L accountability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across executive, peer, and partner levels
• Analytical mindset with ability to develop and monitor KPIs and business outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA a plus
