Join Parachute is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our growing team at our Plyler, Stanly County location. We're transforming the plasma donation experience with smart technology and donor-first practices, and we need skilled professionals to help us deliver safe, efficient, and welcoming care.
About the Role
As a Phlebotomist with Join Parachute, you'll perform critical medical procedures at the intersection of healthcare and community service. Our rapid expansion from a handful of centers to 30 locations has created an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-energy team dedicated to both donor satisfaction and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Perform phlebotomy procedures including plasmapheresis according to established safety and sanitation protocols
- Screen donors for medical eligibility and review health history thoroughly
- Monitor donors during the collection process, ensuring safety and comfort throughout
- Record and maintain accurate donation documentation and medical information
- Operate phlebotomy and collection equipment with precision
- Provide compassionate care and address donor questions and concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming collection environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to sustain fast, efficient operations
What We're Looking For
- Phlebotomy certification or equivalent qualification
- Verified experience collecting blood, preferably in plasma donation or clinical settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Physical capability to work on your feet in a dynamic environment
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety standards
- Positive attitude and genuine care for donor experience
