Project Manager – Client Services

About the Role

As a Project Manager in our Client Services division, you'll be the central point of coordination between Nelnet Servicing and our valued clients. You'll own project delivery from inception through successful completion, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and exceptional client satisfaction. This role sits at the intersection of strategic planning and hands-on execution—managing timelines, resources, and client expectations while fostering strong, lasting relationships.

What You'll Do

• Plan, execute, and oversee client service projects from scope definition through closure
• Communicate proactively with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and address needs
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve obstacles, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Document project progress, outcomes, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement
• Collaborate across departments to coordinate technical, operational, and service delivery components
