Purcell Tire & Rubber Company is recruiting a Mine Tire / OTR Tire Tech to support our mining and construction operations in Rincon, Pima County. As part of our Global Mining Group, you'll work directly with customers across North, Central, and South America to maximize equipment uptime and extend tire life.
About the Role
In this full-time position, you'll provide on-site and shop-based tire service and maintenance for off-the-road (OTR) equipment used in mining and heavy construction. Your work directly contributes to our customers' operational efficiency and bottom-line performance.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on OTR tires to extend tire life and minimize downtime
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify tire failures and performance issues
- Work collaboratively with mining and construction customers to implement tire management solutions
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings to support data-driven improvements
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during service operations
What We're Looking For
You bring technical expertise in tire service and repair, along with a commitment to safety and customer success.
- Hands-on experience servicing and repairing OTR or heavy equipment tires
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with customers on-site
- Attention to detail and focus on safety protocols
- Reliable transportation for field service visits
