Core-Mark is hiring a full-time CDL A Shuttle Driver in Westbrook, Cumberland County to support our food distribution operations. If you hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and take pride in safe, dependable transportation, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
As a CDL A Shuttle Driver, you'll operate heavy commercial vehicles to transport goods and support the backbone of Core-Mark's food distribution network. This is essential work that keeps products moving to retailers and consumers across the region. You'll work in a safe, inclusive environment where your contributions are recognized and rewarded.
What You'll Do
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and professionally on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Deliver goods on schedule while adhering to safety protocols and speed limits
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Transport products efficiently while minimizing damage and waste
- Comply with hours-of-service rules and all federal and state transportation regulations
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening
- Experience operating heavy commercial vehicles
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to vehicle operation and logistics
