About the Role

As an Owner Operator with Clark Transfer, you'll operate your own dry van equipment and manage the transportation logistics for Broadway productions, concert tours, theatrical performances, and major special events. You'll take on increased independence and financial opportunity compared to company driver positions, while maintaining the safety and reliability standards that have made Clark Transfer a trusted partner in the entertainment logistics industry for over 75 years.

What You'll Do

• Manage and operate your own Class A CDL-qualified dry van across interstate and long-haul routes
• Transport live entertainment cargo safely and on schedule to venues across North America
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations, logbook standards, and all DOT requirements
• Coordinate with dispatch and plan efficient routes to meet production schedules and deadlines
• Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections and handle routine maintenance
• Build relationships with venues, production teams, and logistics partners

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable over-the-road trucking experience
• Dry van hauling background preferred
• Owner operator or independent contractor experience a plus
• Ability to manage vehicle maintenance and business operations
• Strong safety record and commitment to DOT compliance
• Professional communication skills and reliability
• Flexibility to work variable schedules to support event timelines
