The Hackett Group is hiring an Oracle HCM Payroll Director to lead payroll strategy and implementation initiatives for enterprise clients adopting Oracle HCM Cloud. About the Role
As Oracle HCM Payroll Director, you will oversee the payroll consulting practice, guiding clients through Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, system configurations, and operational excellence. You'll combine deep payroll domain expertise with Oracle technology knowledge to help organizations realize measurable value from their human capital management investments. This leadership role drives The Hackett Group's vision to deliver strategic consulting that accelerates client outcomes in finance, human resources, and enterprise operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead payroll transformation and implementation engagements using Oracle HCM Cloud, ensuring clients achieve strategic objectives
- Manage and develop payroll consulting teams, building organizational depth in Oracle payroll modules and best practices
- Design and refine payroll strategies leveraging proprietary benchmarking insights and industry research
- Collaborate with clients to diagnose payroll challenges, identify optimization opportunities, and execute change initiatives
- Contribute to industry thought leadership through client case studies and advisory publications
- Cultivate strategic client partnerships and expand the payroll consulting practice
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years in payroll operations, HR consulting, or Oracle HCM environments
- Advanced expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud payroll modules, configurations, and deployment
- Deep knowledge of payroll compliance, tax administration, and multi-jurisdictional payroll operations
- Proven leadership track record managing consulting teams and directing large-scale implementations
- Strong ability to communicate complex payroll concepts to executive stakeholders
- Strategic orientation with ability to identify and articulate payroll value drivers for clients
